- Who produces the content?
- Love of Humanity, Inc. — a New Jersey 501(c)(3) charity (EIN 99-3363114). We handle research, writing, narration, design, editing, and Gumroad hosting end-to-end. NJBIA reviews and approves each release before launch.
- Is NJBIA paying anything up front?
- No. There is no setup fee, license fee, or seat fee. NJBIA earns a 5% channel fee on every paid sale routed through your member promo codes. Free promo codes for members generate no fee but build retention.
- How is this legal under 501(c)(3) rules?
- The 5% channel fee is structured as a marketing-services fee for promotion through your member newsletter and member portal — a normal arms-length arrangement between a charity and a trade association. The MOU spells this out explicitly.
- Can NJBIA pull a release if it doesn't fit?
- Yes. Every release ships only after Wayne's written sign-off on the outline, the draft, and the final cut. The MOU includes a 30-day kill switch on any title — no questions asked.
- Can we co-brand or white-label?
- The default is co-branded "NJBIA × Love of Humanity" — both logos on the cover. Sponsor-tier purchases at $2,500 unlock full NJBIA-forward co-branding on the cover and the Gumroad landing page.
- What about sponsorship tiers?
- Three tiers — $500 (up to 25 employees), $1,500 (up to 100 employees), $2,500 (unlimited + co-branded NJBIA-forward branding). NJBIA pitches sponsors; LOH fulfills. Same 95 / 5 revenue split applies.
- Where does the money go?
- Love of Humanity is a NJ-based 501(c)(3) delivering climate-resilient food and energy programs to vulnerable Monmouth County families. Every dollar net of production costs funds direct programs — energy assistance, food security, and community resilience grants.
